Me and Nicky sat down virtually in her kitchen to create this wonderful, joyous image! I wanted to create an illustration for Nicky that captured the feel of the outdoors, as well as facts about the benefits that forest school brings to the young people that she works with. I drew this image live, sharing my screen with Nicky so that we could co-create the concepts together. It’s one of my favourite ways to collaborate, and meant that I could be confident that the concepts expressed Nicky’s thoughts and research in a direct and humorous way.
